In Lucknow, a member of the State Women's Commission named Priyanka Maurya recently received a prank call from unknown individuals who requested her personal information. She reported this incident to the Krishnanagar police station and alleged that the callers impersonated the personal assistants of the chief minister's principal secretary and the DM of Unnao. These individuals called her on two occasions, claiming they needed her personal details for a significant responsibility she was about to receive. Priyanka suspected that the opposition was behind this deceitful act to tarnish her reputation and thus decided to file a complaint with the authorities. The first call occurred on September 9 at her residence in the LDA Colony on Kanpur Road, and the second call took place on September 30. The DCP of the South Zone, Keshav Kumar, confirmed that an FIR had been filed, and an investigation was underway.
